This is the group photo of Mrs. Addison's student who collaborated a letter to L. Tarshis, the author of the "I Survived..." novels. Each of these students read multiple novels. Jaxon McCarter read all of the novels and wanted to see if they could get L. Tarshis to visit Hunt or maybe even write a novel about Texas history. Jaxon spearheaded the class to write the letter and he has since mailed it. We are now awaiting a response. Jaxon has been nicknamed the General, for all of his historical genre reading.
