  • The Cuero ISD Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected by the public to serve three-year terms.  Elections are held annually in May.  Candidates do represent specific geographical areas excluding At-Large positions.  Following the annual election, the Board elects officers (President, Vice President and Secretary) to serve one-year terms.

    Cuero ISD Trustee Election to be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024

    Early Voting is April 22- April 30, 2024 at DeWitt County Annex Courtroom at

    115 N. Gonzales Ste. A  Cuero,TX 77954

    Last day to register to vote is  April 4, 2024

    There are 3 positions up for election:

    District 5, currently held by Mr. Bill Hamilton

    Position 6 At-Large, Open

    Position 7 At-Large, currently held by Ms. Mary Sheppard

     

    Candidate filing period to file an application for place on the ballot is:

    January 17 to February 16, 2024

    Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

    8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on  February 16
