CLASS OF 2023 SENIOR INFORMATION
CAP AND GOWN INFORMATION
Caps and gowns were distributed to graduates upon arrival. Students, please come by the office soon if you have not picked up your Balfour order. You may purchase a cap and gown in the front office for $60, if you forgot to place an order, but we have a limited number/sizes. Please contact Robin Parma at extension 200, for more information.
AWARDS DAY INFORMATION
May 17, 2023-An awards program will be held at 9:00 a.m. for the entire student body in the new gym. Scholarship recipients and subject award winners/honorees are invited to dress up for the occasion. Guests may enter at the gym doors as they do for games.
BELL CEREMONY
May 17, 2023-The bell ceremony will be held in the new gym at 1:15 p.m. for the entire senior class so that the top 10 graduates and an additional selection, the 11th bell, may present to their honorees. Students who are giving a bell will need to meet Mrs. Fleener in the new gym no later than 1:00 p.m. to be seated on the floor.
SENIOR CAP DECORATIONS
May 19, 2023-If graduates are planning to decorate their caps, the designs need to be submitted for approval no later than 1 week prior to graduation. Drop off or email designs to Robin Parma, rparma@cueroisd.org, in the front office.
GRADUATE WALK INFORMATION
May 24, 2023-Graduates report to the new gym at 8:00 a.m. They will load the buses at 8:15 a.m. and travel to the Cuero ISD schools and walk the halls wearing their cap, gown and other school issued regalia only. Seniors will be released following completion of the Graduate Walk. Make-up exams will also be administered to graduates, as applicable, following the graduate walk by appointment with their teacher or through the counseling office by contacting Ms. Keith at extension 202.
GRADUATION PRACTICE INFORMATION
May 25, 2023-Graduates will meet in the cafeteria at 8:00 a.m. sharp. All fines and fees must be taken care of prior to reporting. Relaxed dress code is permitted, but tardiness is not. Students must be on time for practice in order to participate in the evening ceremony. Ladies, bring the shoes you want to wear that night to ensure you are able to walk the ramp and grass without incident.
TRANSCRIPTS
May 25, 2023-Graduates must notify Ms. Keith in the counselor’s office of where to send their final transcript by signing up on the clipboard by May 25, 2023, or the QR code below may be used for your convenience.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY INFORMATION
Sharon Parker and James Leist will provide their services at graduation. Orders are optional and will be collected in advance. Any photo or video orders received after May 25 will need to be mailed. Order forms will be distributed to seniors on Monday, May 15, 2023. Extra forms are available in the front office. When photos are received in the summer, information will be communicated via the Cuero ISD website and Facebook regarding the dates and times for pick-up of these items in the CHS Front Office. All videos will be ready approximately 30 days after graduation and will be mailed to the address you provide.
GRADUATION
May 26, 2023-Graduates should arrive to the cafeteria dressed and ready, with only school issued regalia, no later than 6:15 p.m. The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. in Gobbler Stadium.
Barring inclement weather, seating is ticketless and at full capacity with both the home and visitor sides of the stands open. Gobbler Stadium will open at 6:15 p.m.
