  • Hunt Elementary School PTO has decided to hold a Read-a-thon this year!
Read-a-thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.

    Our Read-a-thon starts Monday October 9, 2023.

About one week before our Read-a-thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.

We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/IuvAKd/1 and following the simple instructions.

We've chosen Read-a-thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.

    We hope EVERYONE participates.

    Thanks so much,

    Hunt Elementary School PTO

  • Huntlympics/Field Day 2023
    UPDATE–Please Read

Hunt Elementary is scheduled to host Huntlympics/Field Day 2023 this Friday, May 12. Months of planning and preparation have gone into this event. We hope to still hold most of the activities as planned; however, the weather forecast is predicting rain all this week. Regardless of weather, we will still have the sausage wraps, Kona Ice and concessions on May 12. We will most likely need to cancel activities that were planned to take place on grassy areas, and we will likely move some events into the gym. Weather permitting, we will host the races as scheduled at Gobbler Stadium. IF we are unable to host the races at Gobbler Stadium due to weather, we will attempt to reschedule during PE classes next week. We realize that many of you have taken off work on May 12 and that these possible changes are unwelcomed; however, we cannot control the weather. We appreciate your support and understanding as we work to find the best possible solutions while keeping student safety at the forefront. Stay tuned for updates. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Coach Rickman arickman@cueroisd.org or call the office at (361) 275-1900 X 5.
