Back to School
Is your child in need of school supplies, dress-code-approved clothing, a hygiene kit, or other items to be successful in school? Call Student Services to see if they can help!Backpack Program
Students of all ages may be eligible for the Backpack Program. If food is scarce in your household, contact your child's school to see if you qualify. No child should go hungry over the weekend. Thanks to the Golden Crescent Food Bank, St. Michael's Catholic Church, and 1st Presbyterian Church, items have been donated and are sorted by Student Services to send home each weekend of the school year beginning in mid-September. It is dropped off at all campuses before the weekend on a first come, first-served basis.
Transportation
Student Services personnel are on-site at the Old CIS campus from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (except for lunch) and are available up to three times per student per semester for emergency student transportation needs on a first-come, first-served basis.
Title III Emergent Bilingual Parent Engagement Event
Title III Emergent Bilingual Parent Engagement Event for families of Pre-K through 12th grade is from 12:30 - 2 p.m. in the CIS cafeteria. Transportation is available by arrangement with a Parent Liaison. Snacks will be available, and there will be door prizes. Guests are welcome to stay the entire time or come and go throughout this time frame. Bring a friend!
