CLASS OF 2021 SENIOR INFORMATION

CAP AND GOWN INFORMATION

Caps and gowns were distributed to graduates upon arrival.  Students, please come by the office soon if you have not picked up your Balfour order.  You may purchase a cap and gown in the front office for $50, if you forgot to place an order.  Please contact Bailey Bullock at extension 200, for more information.

May 21, 2021 - If graduates are planning to decorate their caps, the designs need to be submitted for approval no later than 2 weeks prior to graduation.  Drop off designs to Bailey Bullock in the front office.

 

AWARDS DAY INFORMATION

May 26, 2021 - An awards program will be shown to the entire student body after brunch and posted for parents and the community. Graduate honorees are invited to dress up for the occasion and will be given a keepsake program and complimentary 5X7 professional photo from John Hudgeons Photography to commemorate the event.  Optional, additional 5X7’s are available for purchase by completing the attached order form.

 

GRADUATE WALK INFORMATION

June 3, 2021 – Graduates report to the new gym at 8:30 a.m.  At 9 a.m., graduates will ride the bus to Cuero ISD schools and walk the halls wearing their cap, gown, and other regalia. Afterward, there will be a complimentary senior outdoor breakfast picnic in the cafeteria courtyard/stadium area prior to release at 11:30 a.m..  An optional Stop the Bleed program is offered in the Performing Arts Center from 1-3 p.m. for any student who is interested in participating.  Announcements will be made about this opportunity from May 3-14, 2021 and students may sign-up in the nurse’s office.  Make-up exams will also be administered to graduates, as applicable. 

 

TRANSCRIPTS

June 4, 2021 – Graduates must notify Mrs. Wesley in the counselor’s office of where to send their final transcript by signing up on the clipboard by this deadline.

GRADUATION PRACTICE INFORMATION

June 4, 2021 – Graduates will meet in the cafeteria at 8 a.m. sharp.  All fines and fees must be taken care of prior to reporting.  Relaxed dress code is permitted, but tardiness is not.  Students must be on time for practice in order to participate in the evening ceremony.  Ladies, bring the shoes you want to wear that night to ensure you are able to walk the ramp and grass without incident.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY INFORMATION

Sharon Parker and James Leist will provide their services at graduation.  Orders are optional and will be collected on the evening of graduation. Order forms will be distributed once received.  When items are received in the summer, information will be communicated via the Cuero ISD website, Facebook, and through BlackBoard connect email as to the dates and times for pick-up of these items in the CHS front office.

 

MASK POLICY AT GRADUATION

Masks will be worn in the buildings as we prepare for graduation, but once outside, while masks are highly recommended, they will not be required of graduates.

 

GRADUATION

June 4, 2021 in Gobbler Stadium at 7:30 p.m. – Graduates should arrive to the cafeteria dressed and ready, with only school issued regalia, no later than 6:15 p.m. with their photo and/or video order forms and payments ready for the photographer/videographer.

Barring inclement weather, seating is ticketless and at full capacity with both the home and visitor sides of the stands open like last year.  Gobbler Stadium will open at 6:15 p.m.

 

BELL CEREMONY

June 10, 2021The bell ceremony will be held in the new gym at 10 a.m. for top 10 graduates & an additional selection, their guests, and honorees.
