Cuero ISD Update: May 18, 2020

Hello Gobbler Family,

FINAL PACKETS
The final packet will not be picked-up/ dropped off in person. Due to the turn around time that packets must sit, we will not have time for them to sterilize before grading. If you want them to be graded, send them digitally to your student's teacher. If you are unable to do so, do not worry it will not count toward grade.

REPORT CARDS/TRANSCRIPTS
Mailed out after May 27th. If transcripts are needed sooner, contact counselors.

SUMMER SCHOOL
At this time, Hunt Elementary will be the only campus having summer school. If you are requested to attend, you will receive notice and details soon. It will be held 100% online.

FOOD SERVICE
Next week we will only have food service, one day only, on May 26th. We will resume Monday and Thursday starting June 1 and it will run the whole month of June. On June 1 we will host South Texas food bank in a food giveaway, more details to come.

GRADUATION
May 29th and will not be open to the general public. Please see link for rules/details Seniors. https://www.cueroisd.org/…/19-20%20graduation%20policies.pd…

SCHOOL 2020-2021
We will send out surveys to parents in the next few weeks regarding options for school during the 20-21 school year. As of current we are planning a modified face-to-face approach, but have multiple alternate plans depending on the guidance we receive from the State and TEA.
This has been a trying time for everyone. We really miss seeing our kids everyday, but this is our world right now. More details to come.

SUMMER HOURS
If we can be of assistance, we will resume regular office hours Monday-Thursday, 8 am-4 pm starting May 26th.

God Bless, Be Safe, and GO MEAN GREEN!!!

Micah A. Dyer, Ed.D.
