Howdy from the Math Lady at Hunt Elementary
I am very excited to be starting my 19th year in education (10th in Cuero ISD) as the Math Interventionist at Hunt Elementary. The students know me as the Math Lady who loves math and does math all day long. Mathematics education is truly my passion and my goal is to pass my love of math on to all students.
I spend most of my day with small groups of students from 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade in order to help these students become succussful in the area of mathematics.
My background includes a Bachelor's and Master's degree from University of Houston-Victoria. I taught for Victoria ISD for 5 years before moving to Region III Education Service Center as the Math/Science Consultant for four years. For the past 9 years I have been the Math Interventionist at Hunt Elementary for Cuero ISD.
I am married to Charles Cox and we have two daughters, Rebecca who is 11 years old and is in 6th Grade at Cuero Jr. High in Cuero ISD and Raelynn who is 4 years old and in Pre K at Lifeway Baptist School.
Looking forward to a great year,
