Touring the Internet |
Question #2 |
Your first step will always be to copy and paste the question from the browser into your Word document. Give the question the number you see below. Make the number and questions bold and your answers not bold. Hunt for the answers on the Internet, then go back to tour.doc and paste or type in the answer as directed. Skip a blank line between answers. Important! Summarize your answers briefly and do not copy and paste an answer unless specifically told to do so. 2. Urban Legends and Folklore Do a search (use the blank at the top of the home page) in this site to find information on the urban legend that a shark attacked a helicopter. Use the bold words for your search. You may have to read several articles to find out the answers to the following questions. When you choose an article, the first thing it will show you is the legend or myth. After that comes the research that has been done on that myth to find out if it is really true. So be careful, read the whole screen before writing your answer.
Now, tell me how this site could be useful to you when you are deciding whether to forward a questionable email. (Hint: Is Bill Gates really going to send you $1,000 if you forward that email to 10 people??)
