Cuero ISD Senior Chromebooks 

Dear Parent or Guardian of Graduating Senior, 

As the school year draws to a close, we want to thank you for your support of the 1:1 Chromebook initiative and to inform you about Chromebook procedures for the Class of 2024 Cuero graduates. 

Students will be able to KEEP their Chromebook device and accessories (charger and case) upon graduation. The Chromebook will be unenrolled from Cuero ISD restrictions and the device will be reset to original factory settings. The unenroll command will be sent on Friday, May 24th at 8am. The student will have complete ownership of the device; the District will no longer be responsible for the device, including its care and repair services. This includes internet filtering, any internet traffic will no longer be filtered for content.

All students will have access to their Cuero ISD Google account for a year until the end of May 2025. It is recommended that students download or make copies of any documents or information that they want to keep. We recommend that you create a free personal account at gmail.com to use with this Chromebook. 

There is a school barcode on the bottom of the device that is labeled with CUEROISD#####. This barcode can be removed. 

If you have issues getting the Chromebook set up for personal use, you can stop by the Technology Building for assistance. We are located at 405 Park Heights Dr. next to the tennis courts. We are open during school hours during the school year and during the summer from Monday-Thursday from 8-4:30. 

Loaner Device: If you are a graduating senior with a Chromebook from the library you must return the loaner Chromebook in order to not be charged for the device.
