Why do we need a foundation?

As student needs grow, funding to Texas Schools decreases. Taxpayers are making every effort to meet the basic needs of students and to provide a quality education for all children. Cuero ISD Education Foundation seeks to take students to the next level and provide educational enrichment opportunities for students and faculty beyond what is provided within the budget of Cuero ISD.

In addition to enriching education, a permanent endowment will be created by collecting tax deductible gifts. The interest from the endowment will be used to provide solid monetary support for generations of Cuero students.

How does the Foundation work?

The Cuero ISD Education Foundation is a 501(C)(3) organization established to create support for innovative academic programs of CISD. Foundation funds will be used to support student achievement and skill development, recognize and encourage staff excellence, and expand community involvement from individuals, businesses, and civic organizations.

How can you help?

Your support can come from a variety of ways. Let me again emphasize that all donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible. Gifting options include:

• General cash or pledged donations at anytime. Such gifts may memorialize or honor family or friends.
• Wills, trusts, life insurance and other options recommended by estate planners.
• Matched Giving through your company or employer.
• Real Estate
• Stocks & Bonds
• In kind products and services
• Establishment of honorary/memorial scholarships
• Annual Fund Campaign of activities planned each year to support the Foundation's programs.
• Contributions may be designated specifically for the endowment fund.
• The Foundation will always welcome the intangible and invaluable gifts of your time and service.

Mission
The mission of the Cuero ISD Education Foundation is to generate and distribute resources to the Cuero Independent School District to enrich, maintain, and expand programs needed to meet the District's stated mission of excellence in education.
