Parents and Students of the Cuero ISD, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Cuero Independent School District. The staff of the transportation department is dedicated to providing you with the best and safest transportation to and from school as possible. The Cuero ISD provides bus transportation to and from school as a courtesy service for eligible students residing in the district. The State of Texas prescribes the conditions governing school bus operations and funds the service by allotting the district a given amount for eligible students transported. Eligible students are defined by state statute as those residing in the district at least two (2) miles from the school they should attend as measured by the nearest practical route.
