After School Snack Program
All students attending tutoring or extra curricular activies after school are given a nutritious snack at no cost.
CUERO ISD CHARGE POLICY
In an effort to combat excessive student charges, Cuero ISD will implement the following cafeteria charging guidelines effective August 1, 2016:
Students will be allowed to charge 5 lunch meals. After this limit is met, students will be offered an alternative meal of a ham and cheese sandwich and milk for lunch. No charging will be allowed at breakfast or at the snack bar.
Employees and visitors will not be allowed to charge at the cafeteria. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Parents may view their child’s account online at www.myschoolbucks.com. The online site offers reminder emails to parents about low account balances on their child’s account. Please see the Food Service website at www.cueroisd.org for instructions.
Parents are encourage to prepay. Payments may be made in the following ways:
- Cash or check brought by the student to the cafeteria
- Parents bring payment to the cafeteria
- Online at www.myschoolbucks.com
All positive balances will transfer over to the next year. Refunds must be requested in writing, please see cafeteria for information.

Cuero ISD is a part of the USDA National School Breakfast and Lunch programs and offers free or reduced meals to those who qualify. Application forms are available from your student's front office at anytime. Please understand that new applications must be completed and returned for approval each school year. All information disclosed on the application is kept confidential. Please call James Coburn at 275-2484 if you have any questions regarding the application process.

Cuero ISD Food Service Promotions
During the 2016-2017 school year, ACE will continue to communicate and reinforce the importance of good nutrition and exercise. This year, ACE’s monthly program is ACE Rocks!, which features Superstar ACE (and Friends) practicing fun activities and learning healthy tips. As always, a healthy message and information will be weaved into the materials, teaching students to eat right and exercise to be fit..
FUEL is our tween/teen promotional program.
The FUEL program:
- Features monthly thematic food-focused promotions, created to drive meal participation by making school lunch relevant and appealing for middle and high school students.
- Combats menu fatigue and generates excitement around in-school dining by featuring new and exciting signature menu items, or by putting new twists on popular favorites.
- Reinforces a healthy school lunch as an important way for students to get the fuel they need to participate in their favorite activities throughout the busy school day.
