Summer 2017 Technology Staff Development


All training will take place at the Cuero Junior High campus.  Please bring your iPad and Macbook/Laptop fully charged. Training days:  May 31, June 1, July 25, July 26
Training day sessions are identical for each day.

 
SESSION 1 - 8:30-9:30

Trutouch Displays and Smart Notebook with online resources (Room 460, 8th grade wing)
Come and use a Trutouch display with the Smart Notebook software. Learn how to use the display as well as the software that is used to turn your computer screen into a digital whiteboard. Learn how to write directly on websites, PDFs, Word documents and any digital file. Formative Assessments with Plickers and Go Formative (CJH Library)
Gathering student responses and viewing data quickly and efficiently has never been easier to achieve. Learn how to use Go Formative for quick, detailed and in-depth assessments with full reporting features. Just want a quick way to poll your class to check for understanding? Test generation and reporting with DMAC (6th grade hallway computer lab)
DMAC’s test generator TAG has a huge test bank to create assessments with. Learn how to create a test, edit, print, send to TEKScore for use with DMAC scantrons and then run reports to find where your students’ weaknesses are.  Presenter:  Paula.  RESOURCES

Online backups with Dropbox and Google! (CJH Library)
Do you have a copy of all your digital teaching resources somewhere other than your main computer? If not, come and learn how to use Dropbox or Google to backup all your documents online so that a hardware failure does not leave you trying to rebuild all your resources.
