New Career & Tech Offerings for Next Year!
Parents and students are invited to a presentation in the high school library with Victoria College representatives on Monday January 26 at 6:00 pm. You'll learn about programs we are considering for next year. If your high school student is interested in classes and careers in process technology, electronics and instrumentation, and industrial welding, please join us for this information session. Students who are highly interested will be invited for a school-sponsored tour of the Victoria College facilities for these programs. Congratulations goes out to Mr. Greg Nemec for receiving the Cuero Chamber of Commerce Agriculture and Visitor's Center Agriculture Achievement Award. This award was presented to Mr. Nemec at the annual membership social and awards presentation on January 15th, 2015.
Congratulations to Cuero ISD Senior Chant Parker for receiving the prestigious award "Citizen of Tomorrow". This recognition was given by the Cuero Chamber of Commerce Agriculture and Visitor's Center at their recent membership social and awards presentation. Chant is congratulated by Cuero ISD Superintendent, Mr. Jim Haley.
Mary Kate Krueger, a CHS Junior, turned in a great offensive and defensive effort in helping the Lady Gobblers Basketball Team beat the Yoakum Lady Bulldogs. Mary Kate exhibits a spirit and competitiveness that is contagious and is one of the many heartbeats to the success of her team. Great job Mary Kate!!!

ATTENTION STUDENTS INTERESTED IN CHEER SQUAD FOR THE 2015-2016 SCHOOL YEAR!
On January 29th, CHS will host an informational meeting for students interested in trying out for cheerleader or mascot. Interested parents and students must attend this important meeting. It will be held in the CHS library beginning at 6:30 pm. This is for any eligible current 9th through 11th grader at Cuero High School, as well as any eligible 8th grader at Cuero Junior High, Meyersville, and Westhoff schools. Congratulations Cuero Gobbler of the week, Senior Chelsea Veit ! Chelsea is currently ranked number 2 in the Senior Class. Upon graduation, she will have 19 college credit hours, Awesome ! Chelsea is a member of the Lady Gobbler Varsity Basketball, Golf, and Softball teams. She is also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, President of the National Honor Society, and Student Body Vice-President. In the Fall, Chelsea will be attending Texas A&M University in College Station and will be majoring in Accounting. Congratulations again to our Gobbler of the Week, Chelsea Veit.
