Gobbler of the Week (April 27th)


What a great selection for our Gobbler of the Week !  Justyce has proven herself to be a key ingredient to the success of the Lady Gobbler volleyball and softball teams.  She is an all "A" Honor Roll student whose favorite subject is Math.  She also serves as a math department aide.  After graduation, Justyce plans to attend Sam Houston State University, majoring in Criminology.  Her wonderful smile and positive attitude make her a wonderful choice for our CHS Gobbler of the Week !

Voting Information for At-Large Positions

Cuero ISD has two At-Large positions that will be decided in the school board May election. Important dates, times, and locations to remember:

• Early voting will begin on Monday, April 27th and will go through Tuesday, May 5th. Voting will take place at the Dewitt County Elections Office Annex Building at 115 N. Gonzales St. from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Election Day is Saturday, May 9th. Voting will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the same location.


Family Access Needed for Online Registration

Important Information regarding next school year:

Cuero ISD will be using Family Access for Online Registration for currently enrolled students. District required forms and verification of your child’s information will need to be submitted prior to the 2015-2016 school year.

If you do not have a Family Access Account you may obtain a form at any campus. Please note only ONE ACCOUNT is needed per family. If you have any questions, please contact your child's school.


Rock Solid Character is coming

  On April 24th at Cuero Intermediate School they will  present a positive character lesson. entitled,
The 7 Handholds of Success.  With parent permission, CIS students can interact with this lesson by having the chance to climb a portable rock-climbing wall.  Trained personnel will be on hand to provide an enriching and safe climbing experience. 


NEW Student Registration for PreK & Kindergarten

Dates and Times:

  • Tuesday April 28th 12 - 4 pm
  • Wednesday April 29th 2 – 6 pm


Child must be age 4 or 5 on or before September 1, 2015 and potty trained. Cuero residents will have priority enrollment. A waiting list for transfers is available. The following documents must be provided to enroll your child:

- Proof of Address (utility bill, house lease with address)
- Certified Birth Certificate (certified sealed copy)
- Social Security Card
- Shot Record
- Parent Photo ID with Date of Birth
- PK application with proof of income within last 30 days (PK only)


Person enrolling student must be the parent or legal guardian of the child. If you have any questions, please call 361-275-1900 ext. 6.


It is time to start thinking about the new school year and your child’s pre-participation physical. Every student that is going to compete in any UIL sport for the 2015-2016 school year needs a new physical and updated paperwork. All required paperwork is enclosed in this packet. Physicals will be offered for $10
on three dates:
1. Bohman Clinic on April 20, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00pm
2. Parkside Family Clinic on April 30, 2015 from 4:30 to 6:00 ...pm
3. Cuero Medical Clinic on May 6, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm
