CHS Graduation

Cuero High School Graduation:  May 26, 7:30 PM

Claevon Patton, a CHS Junior, participated in the  State Track Meet in Austin where he ran on the 400 meter relay which placed 5th. Claevon was an integral part of the Cuero Varsity Track team this season. He ran on all 3 relays in almost every meet The Gobblers attended. Through hard work he was able to bring his times down each week as the season progressed. He was also the first and only member of the district champion 1600 meter relay to run under 50 seconds this year. Claevon has made great strides in track after being injured his sophomore year, which prevented him from participating last year. Claevon has a work ethic second to none and a great desire to compete at a high level. We are looking forward to even greater things from Claevon in football and track his senior year.  Way to go Claevon!

Immunizations for Students Entering 7th Grade for 2017-2018

Dear Parents/Guardians of Students entering 7th grade in August 2017:

This notice  is to inform you of the immunizations needed to ensure your student can attend the first day of school August 17, 2017. Texas law requires students attending school to be immunized against certain vaccine-preventable diseases. Students without proof of required immunizations will not be given their schedule for the 2017-2018 school year until this proof is received.

Immunization requirements for 7th graders consist of:

  1. One Tdap booster
  2. Two doses of varicella if not already received
  3. One dose of quadrivalent meningococcal conjugate (MCV4 or MenACWY) vaccine
  4. Two doses of hepatitis A

Cuero ISD encourages you to get your child vaccinated early to avoid the end-of-summer vaccination rush.  Schedule an appointment now with your child’s physician.  The Dewitt County Health Department also administers immunizations to Medicaid and no Insurance patients on Monday 1pm-5pm; Wednesday 3pm-5pm; and Friday 9am -11am for $20.00.

Please watch our District Website/ Facebook and The Cuero Record for more details.
